AFMC Fertility Medical Center IVF（美国生育医疗中心）

It's been three weeks after under eye filler and I'm still swollen and black and blue. The company refuses to return any text messages and calls to fix what was done.

We visited AFMC in Diamond Bar and paid for a full consultation in January 2026 and initially had a very positive experience with the clinical team. The staff was professional and knowledgeable during our visit, which gave us confidence in choosing this facility. However, our experience took a significant turn for the worse when dealing with the financial coordinator, Eli Li, regarding insurance authorization. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a 3-month ordeal that ultimately led us to seek care elsewhere. Issues we encountered: - Required 5+ follow-up emails just to get updates on our insurance pre-authorization status - Made numerous phone calls that went unanswered, despite the receptionist confirming Eli was in his office - Were repeatedly told authorization was "still being processed" for 3 full months Insurance pre-authorizations typically don't take anywhere near this long. After waiting patiently and giving multiple opportunities for resolution, we had no choice but to move on to another facility where our authorization was processed in a timely manner. While the clinical team was excellent, the administrative follow-through was severely lacking. For those considering AFMC, I'd recommend having backup facility options and being prepared for potential delays in the administrative process. Communication and follow-up are critical components of patient care, and unfortunately, this is where our experience fell short. I hope the facility addresses these administrative issues so future patients/potential parents don't experience similar frustrations.

Today I graduated from the reproductive medicine department! One round of induction and one transfer resulted in a successful pregnancy. At 9 weeks + 2 days, I was so happy to see my chubby baby on the ultrasound! 😃 Dr. Musa's skills are superb; he considered all aspects of the medication and chose a very reasonable treatment plan. Everything was under his control. Eli explained the costs in great detail, and there were no hidden fees. We went to another hospital before, and their fees were very expensive and confusing, with many hidden charges, so we chose this one. The doctor's assistant, Hannah, was very friendly and helped us translate and solve various problems. The other medical staff were also very kind. If you also want to fulfill your dream of becoming a parent, you absolutely, absolutely shouldn't miss this hospital! It's truly amazing!

Dr. Musa's skills are excellent, the medications she uses are comprehensive, and she's incredibly friendly. Thank you so much! Hanah, the doctor's assistant, was also very professional, friendly, and attentive. The receptionist was also friendly, and the nurses were professional and friendly as well. Eli, the finance manager, explained the fees very clearly, and there were no hidden charges later, which was great. We went to another hospital before, which deliberately gave vague pricing, leading us to discover a huge discrepancy when we went to inquire about the urology department's costs, forcing us to drop out. Thank God we found this hospital, and thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff!!

I went to this fertility clinic after trying to conceive for several months for my third baby , I have pcos and this pregnancy was very hard to conceive. Hannah helped me through out the process. I did 1 round on monitoring ovulation and I got pregnant at home having intercourse !! Only 1 round. I recommend this place if you’re struggling with infertility they are amazing. I can’t wait to meet my bundle of joy and I just wish I would have known sooner about this clinic !

So far, my experience has been good. Dr. Moussa has been really nice and has explained the steps and our results very thoroughly. She has also been pretty clear with our path leading up to IUI treatment. We will be starting IUI treatment in the next month or so and I will update how my experience is and hoping we end with a successful pregnancy story like others.

7/2/2024 The environment at this fertility center is clean and the atmosphere is warm. The staffs always remind you when to take your medication and how to administer injections. Also, they provide videos to help to make the process easier for you. They also regularly remind you of follow-up appointments. Dr. Moussa is very professional, and if you don't understand any medical terms in English, the staffs will provide translations and explanations. I am undergoing IVF here, and today is my embryo transfer. I hope it will be successful on the first try. 8/20/2024 Update: It’s been about a month and a half since the embryo transfer, and the clinic is still closely monitoring the progress with regular blood tests and ultrasounds. Everything seems to be going well so far, and both my husband and I are very happy. Hannah, the coordinator has been incredibly gentle and has continuously encouraged me when I felt unwell. I believe that a gentle attitude is so important during such a difficult time. I am truly thankful to have chosen AFMC. 10/30/2024 Update: Tomorrow, my baby will be five months along. I hope the journey ahead and the delivery go smoothly. Thank you again to the doctor and all the staff. 07/28/2025 Update: My baby was born safely on March 21st. Although I ended up going through the full experience of labor and delivery, I’m so grateful that he’s healthy. He’s now 4 months old, and every time we visit the doctor, we hear that everything—from his heart and lungs to his digestive system—is doing great. I’m truly happy and thankful 😊

The office is very nice and the staff is super nice and helpful. Dr Moussa is very straight to the point and realistic and we loved that about her. Will definitely be going back!
