**EDIT** Editing this review to say that we heard on 10/31/2024 from their internal embryo bank employee that they were still reviewing our paperwork and would let us know and that it can take “6-10 months” to match with embryos. I am making this edit on 07/09/2026 to say we never heard another word from them after that. Not that we were on a waitlist or anything. I truly do not believe that this clinic cares to help people grow their families unless you are paying thousands of dollars in tests and treatments from them. I want to start off by saying that I do believe this clinic can be great. However, that was not my husband and I’s overall experience. We connected with Dr. Ku to get a second opinion on my diminished ovarian reserve after reading that he specializes in that diagnosis. We had undergone 3 IVF cycles with another clinic beforehand. Of those cycles, we were only able to produce one low level mosaic embryo. When meeting with Dr. Ku the first time, we felt very hopeful as he already had read up on our history and had a plan for what he wanted to try. We also expressed that we would want to potentially try transferring our low level mosaic embryo if we did not see success. He gave us no indication that that would be an issue. It was only AFTER we went through yet another failed IVF cycle and were devastated that he told us he would not transfer our embryo because it had a lower chance of success (but that was our ONLY embryo after all we had been through). It truly felt like he only cared about his success rates in that moment which was disappointing because he had made us feel very cared for up until that point. It was after that conversation that we decided to explore embryo donation and expressed interest in working with their internal bank. We contacted that necessary party and were aware that the process could take a while. However, we filled out all the forms and were told someone would review them and confirm in a few weeks whether any changes needed to be made and officially put us on the waitlist. Well…that was 5 MONTHS AGO and we have never been contacted since regarding anything. Not even if our forms were approved and that we are just waiting to be matched. We wanted to love this clinic, but were disappointed to say the least.

My husband &I had a great experience with Dr Barnett , he is amazing . We have been working with him from almost a year and he gave us right direction at every step of the way.I am Thankful to him as my husband &I were trying to get pregnant from last 3 yrs and finally we are because Dr Barnett and his magic 😊 gave us this happiness. His team is great too however I think such procedures require you to keep your mind open in terms of cost, no matter what and might not work on the fixed budget ,you need to keep your follow-ups and track on things don’t expect the staff And have your interest and understanding on the process wherever possible, it’s not right thing to say but for us our end goal was to get pregnant and we closed our eyes on some of the other things though we didn't have any extremely bad experience and it’s not just with them no matter where you go.keep expectations low and eye on your end goal as they them it’s there day to day process and for who are trying know the pain. Overall I would surely recommend Dallas IVF ( some of friends are already started the process with them ) and Dr Barnett .

I had a very positive experience. Dr. Lowell Ku, Dr. Sarah Mucowski, and Jessica Olshansky, RN, were all amazing — kind, supportive, professional, and compassionate throughout the process. I truly felt cared for and supported by the Innovations team.

I want to share my experience at Frisco IVF because I wish I had seen something like this before my HSG procedure. I went in for a routine Hysterosalpingography (HSG) as part of fertility testing. The procedure itself was explained briefly and I was told it was standard and low risk. I followed all pre-procedure instructions, no antibiotics were prescribed as a preventative. The HSG itself was physically uncomfortable but manageable in the moment. However, within the weeks after I began experiencing worsening pelvic pain, bloating, and symptoms that did not feel normal recovery-wise. Over the following days, my symptoms escalated rather than improved. After follow-up care, I was diagnosed with Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which was extremely distressing both physically and emotionally, especially given that I had no active infection symptoms prior to the procedure. I required additional treatment and recovery time, and it significantly impacted my fertility journey and overall wellbeing not to mention the financial impact - ER visits multiple doctors appts time off work. What has been most difficult is the lack of clear communication and support during the aftermath. While the procedure itself is commonly considered routine, I do feel that the potential risks and warning signs afterward were not emphasized enough, and I was not fully prepared for the possibility of complications like this. I am sharing this not to discourage others from necessary fertility testing, but to encourage patients to ask detailed questions beforehand about infection risk, antibiotic protocols, and what symptoms should prompt immediate follow-up care. Fertility treatment is already emotionally and physically taxing, and patients deserve thorough counseling and attentive follow-up when something doesn’t feel right after procedures like this.

Overall, I had a good experience. The doctor explained my condition and treatment plan clearly, which I really appreciated. I felt confident in the recommendations provided. One area for improvement would be the pace of the consultation. At times, it felt a bit rushed, and having a little more time to ask questions or discuss concerns would make the experience even better. That said, the communication was clear and the guidance was helpful, so overall it was a positive visit.
