Individuals who work here mean well, but overall the experience is quite poor. It is near-impossible to talk to an actual physician, and most of the people you have appointments with seem not allowed/able to answer medical questions. There is also absolutely no flexibility about your treatment plan. I strongly recommend skipping Magee and going straight to one of the private clinics in the suburbs.

❌Absolutely terrible experience! Dr. Estevez — avoid!!! Canceled my appointment 2 days before the call I had booked MONTHS in advance. Zero apology. Saw another doctor who immediately asked why I hadn’t been tested for basic, critical things. UPMC never bothered. When I told the nurse, she instantly sent a list of labs and supplements they “recommend.” They just don’t care enough to do their job! Time was wasted. The only thing this office does consistently is send you the bill

Absolutely horrible. They claim they are “there” for your care but will make you wait months on end. Delaying your future. UPMC is truly “life changing medicine” for the worst.

I’ve seen a good mix of different providers, nurses, ultrasound techs, etc in the last six months with the Penn Hills and Hermitage offices. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences each time! When I voice a concern I feel heard, and I never feel like the providers or nurses feel rushed when I have questions that need answered. Communication from this office has been timely and straightforward. Appointments have been easy to make, and I haven’t needed to wait long to be seen for each step along the way. Even the financial team has been informative throughout the process! Thus far, we have nothing negative to say about our experience with Magee REI.

Waiting 4 months to get in. Im 36 years old and not getting any younger. My first appt was cancelled the day before. Got it rescheduled. Did some testing, second appt was cancelled on me, day before. Called me back to back 615 in the AM waking me up. Lost 1.5 hours of sleep (i have 2 young children so this is a big deal). They treat their clients schedules like garbage, are short in the messages and even have their nurses trained to talk to you like a robot. My insurance switched which caused me to go here. In past i went somewhere else for years (never once cancelled on me) and was treated with respect and decency. Not to mention they don't have enough parking spaces for the people coming to the hospital so you have to leave an extra 30 mon early.

Can't get medical records transferred. We filled out the paper work for them to release them and now we have an appointment tomorrow and they still haven't done it. all kinds of other skeptical businesses practices. Clearly people didn't do their jobs. We spent a lot of money working with them and everything was successful. We barely missed their abrupt shutdown

We’ve had some rocky times with this clinic. We started iui with them a few years ago. We were unsuccessful. So we decided to do IVF and went to CNY buffalo It wasn’t that far for the significant savings. We were successful there. Fast forward 2 years we are doing IVF with Dr Rios. Much better experience this time around The thing with CNY they were way more attentive and had great advice and supplement recommendations. It felt less like just another person trying to get pregnant. It was wildly different. But again we have seen some improvements with UPMC this time around

Scammers! Told me on the phone initial consultation will be $200. Got my credit card charged $200 after the consultation, but then they sent me another $146 bill in mail for the same consultation. Billing office has autoresponder, been leaving messages for a week already. They were so eagerly calling me to set up the consultation, now complete ignore both on Upmc app and the phone.

The PCOS center is entirely unhelpful and will charge for visits that give no single thread of advice. As if this condition isn't frustrating enough, leave it to UPMC to only make you feel worse about yourself and completely waste your time and charge you money for providing no service. Skip the unhelpful PCOS care center "specialists" and go literally anywhere else.

Now I see the reviews of this place, unfortunately I had a very unpleasant experience with them where the only thing I did was waste time, thank God I found another place. if you can stay away from this place it's the best,
