Reproductive Partners Fertility Center - San Diego (RPSD)

I appreciated how thorough and clear all the expectations and instructions were throughout the entire process. Everyone was friendly, caring, and helpful.

I previously used Reproductive Partners Fertility Center as a Kaiser patient and had no significant issues, but Kaiser managed my fertility care. Now that Reproductive Partners is directly coordinating my IVF/fertility treatment, my experience has been completely different. To be fair, my doctor, Dr. Stanhiser, was great. My concerns are with the nursing/case-management and administrative systems responsible for coordinating medications, scheduling, testing, samples, results, and communication. My nurse actually told me, “Unfortunately, we just have too many people for us to keep track of.” That is extremely concerning to hear from a fertility clinic responsible for time-sensitive care. My assigned nurse repeatedly failed to follow through. I was essentially told to call if something was important, yet she was frequently unavailable when I did. I requested another case manager and am still waiting. I am also still waiting for appointment confirmation and continue having to initiate follow-up myself. Billing has been another issue. Reproductive Partners provided checkout sheets with charges/codes and collected payment at checkout, including charges associated with samples before they went to an outside laboratory. My understanding was that subsequent laboratory charges would come from the lab. Now Reproductive Partners is repeatedly trying to collect an additional balance. I have asked for an itemized reconciliation showing the charges, my previous payments, how they were applied, and how this balance was calculated. I am NOT refusing to pay a legitimate bill. I am asking them to show me what I owe and why. Most concerning was an unexplained delay involving one of my samples. I had to call because my results were taking too long. I was initially told the doctor needed to review them—but the results weren’t even there for the doctor to review. That left me asking: When was my sample actually sent? Why was it delayed? When did the lab receive it? Reproductive Partners assures me the sample was mine and simply delayed, but I still have not received an adequate explanation for why. I am NOT claiming my sample was switched or mislabeled. The unexplained delay simply left me with unanswered questions about whether it was sent on time and whether appropriate specimen identification, labeling, handling, and tracking procedures were followed. Combined with being told they have “too many people for us to keep track of,” this has significantly affected my confidence in my care. Dr. Stanhiser later left the practice. Again, she was great, but I did not receive adequate proactive communication or a clear transition plan for my fertility treatment. I also requested management contact in January/February 2026. I finally received a call approximately a week ago. It is now August. Approximately SIX MONTHS for management follow-up. My Reproductive Partners Fertility Center experience has involved poor nursing follow-through, billing transparency concerns, an unexplained sample delay, continuity-of-care issues, and delayed management response. Great fertility doctors cannot compensate for a system that does not consistently coordinate and communicate. Based on my experience, I recommend prospective IVF and fertility patients consider a different fertility clinic. You deserve fertility care where your treatment actually feels like it matters.

Words cannot express how much gratitude my husband and I have for the entire team at Reproductive Partners San Diego for all they have done to help us bring our miracle baby girl home. Deciding on a fertility clinic can be daunting, but RPSD came highly recommended by my OB based on patient feedback and I’m so glad I chose their office for IVF. In considering clinics, I was impressed by the fact that only doctors perform ultrasounds at RPSD and appreciated the time they took to answer my questions. Dr. Duleba and his incredible nurse coordinator Sheri Collins never gave up on our difficult case and were always receptive to new ideas and changes in protocol. Sheri was also incredibly responsive on communication from scheduling to medication orders and random cycle questions. She truly made this process logistically seamless. I always felt like a patient at RPSD as opposed to a number and all the nurses, doctors and embryologists have been nothing but warm and helpful throughout the process. They all truly want to see you succeed and I consistently felt supported during our journey. I write this review while holding my baby and still can’t believe she’s here. Thank you so much RPSD for helping us achieve our family planning goal!

I want to specifically recognize Khadeeja Osborne, a financial counselor at Reproductive Partners. She is incredibly warm, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely competent, a combination that is rarer than it should be. From our first conversation, she made us feel like actual people rather than account numbers, and it was clear she knew her field inside and out. She cared about the outcome for us, not just about closing out a file. The clearest example: fertility care is brutally expensive, and the insurance side is where most people give up and simply pay whatever they're told. Khadeeja did something different. She walked us through our plan in detail, what was covered, what wasn't, how the benefits were structured, and how to sequence things to get the maximum coverage available to us. She used her command of that system on our behalf rather than just processing paperwork, and it saved us a significant amount of money. She was also endlessly patient with us. We asked the same questions more than once, and she never made us feel like a burden for it. She followed through on every single thing she said she would do. During an emotionally difficult process, she was the relief and attention that we needed. Khadeeja deserves to be recognized by name. Reproductive Partners is lucky to have her.

My husband and I have been going through IVF treatment. It has been a long road. The doctors, nurses, coordinators, and all the staff at RPFC have made this a stress free, painless process. I feel understood, taken care of, and in wonderful hands. My first appointment with Dr Lin, she met with me for over an hour! Going through my medical history in depth. Our coordinator Brittney G has gone above and beyond for us. She is always on top of my medications, protocol schedule, all my paperwork. She quickly responds to any questions I have, and I haven't had to worry about anything! Anyone going through IVF knows what a night and day difference this makes. Thank you Dr Lin, Brittney, and RPFC!

Dr. Stanhiser truly deserves a five-star review! Although it's been a while (sorry for the delayed review), we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude. Our fertility journey lasted about a year and included some unique and challenging circumstances. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Stanhiser provided exceptional care and guidance. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, trustworthy, and always took the time to address our concerns. We are deeply grateful for everything she did for us. The entire clinic is outstanding. The doctors, nurses, and embryologists are all kind, professional, and supportive. Our clinical coordinator, nurse Carly, helped made the process as smooth as possible. Our embryologist, Wei Zhang, was also exceptional—knowledgeable, patient and made us sure that we had professional backend support. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Stanhiser and the entire clinic team to anyone seeking outstanding fertility care. Thank you all for making such a meaningful difference in our journey!

After our IVF journey, we were blessed with our beautiful baby girl, and we truly couldn’t have done it without them. Dr. Su is an outstanding physician and person. She was incredibly responsive, kept everything running smoothly, and was always there to guide us through every step with compassion and encouragement.
