Medical Disclaimer
ProIVF is a fertility-care information service, not a clinic. Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation — confirm every decision with a licensed reproductive specialist and get every figure from the clinic in writing.
Effective date: September 2, 2026
1. What ProIVF actually does
ProIVF is a fertility-care information and coordination service. Our consultants answer your questions about treatment abroad, compile and compare clinic and physician profiles, put your questions to the clinics you are considering and request quotations on your behalf and, where you take a specific service, keep the thread running between clinic, laboratory, lawyers, and document processing until the case is closed. None of that is clinical care: we do not diagnose, do not prescribe, and do not issue medical opinions. The protocol, timing, and medication of any cycle are decided by you together with the licensed reproductive specialist who treats you.
2. We are not your treatment provider
We have no employment or ownership relationship with the clinics, physicians, and laboratories listed on this site. Your treatment relationship exists only between you and the clinic, and it begins when you sign that clinic's own consent forms. Every medical decision — protocol, timing, medication, transfer, whether to continue a cycle — is made by the licensed reproductive endocrinologist who has examined you, not by ProIVF and not by anything you read here.
3. Nothing on this site is medical advice
Success rates, price ranges, protocol names, medication descriptions, timeline milestones, legal summaries, and patient reviews are health information and background reading. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a recommendation of a treatment plan for you. Do not start, stop, or change any medication or protocol on the basis of this site before you have spoken with your own specialist.
4. Statistics describe populations, not you
The rates we publish come from public registries such as the CDC National ART Surveillance System, HFEA, and SART, plus figures clinics release themselves. They report outcomes for a defined age band across many cycles. Your AMH, antral follicle count, uterine conditions, response in previous cycles, diagnosed cause, and chosen protocol together determine what any of those numbers means for you. A 60% live-birth rate at one clinic means very different things for a 32-year-old and a 43-year-old.
5. In an emergency, call — do not search
If you have severe abdominal pain, rapid weight gain with abdominal swelling, heavy vaginal bleeding, fever, symptoms of severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), or any change in consciousness, go to an emergency department or call your local emergency number immediately: 911 in the United States, 999 in the United Kingdom and Malaysia, 000 in Australia, 112 in the European Union, 1669 in Thailand, 119 in Japan, 120 in mainland China. This site provides no emergency guidance.
6. Prices, schedules, and licences change
Costs, protocol quotations, waiting times, physician availability, and certification status all move with exchange rates, regulation, and each clinic's own decisions. Figures shown here are publicly listed prices or quotation ranges as of the time of writing; they are not an offer and not a commitment. Before you sign anything or transfer money, get written confirmation from the clinic and check that the specific technique you need — IVF, ICSI, or PGT — falls within its licence. Regulators publish the register of licensed centres in their jurisdiction; verify there rather than relying on our summary.
7. Surrogacy and donation: who does what
Commercial surrogacy is prohibited in the People's Republic of China and restricted to varying degrees in most of the world. This site discusses and takes on work in this area only where the law of the place of treatment expressly permits it within a defined legal framework — currently California, Georgia, certain Mexican states, and Colombia. The division of roles is specific. ProIVF supplies clinic and agency research, plan comparison, introductions to licensed agencies and law firms, interpretation accompaniment, and help with document processing. Every clinical act — egg retrieval, embryo culture, transfer, antenatal care, delivery — is performed by a licensed fertility clinic in that jurisdiction; surrogate recruitment and screening are run by a licensed surrogacy agency; contracts and parentage orders are handled by locally qualified attorneys. ProIVF is not a medical provider, not a licensed surrogacy agency, and not a law firm, and issues neither medical nor legal opinions. Commitments made to you by a clinic, agency, or attorney bind the party that signed them; they are not represented as commitments by ProIVF. Conception, pregnancy, and delivery depend on the treatment itself and on your individual circumstances: ProIVF promises nothing about live-birth rates, pregnancy outcomes, or the health of a child. Whether a child may enter a country, have parentage registered, or be added to a household registration in China is decided case by case by the competent authority; the return-and-registration guidance we give is informational help, not a guarantee. We do not take part in sex selection without a medical indication, and we do not assist any arrangement that would be unlawful where it is carried out.
8. Rankings and reviews are not for sale
Ratings and written reviews on this site are taken from real user submissions on public platforms such as Google Maps; we translate and structure them and retain the original text. Asking ProIVF a question, looking information up, and comparing options cost you nothing; if you then take a specific service package that we coordinate, its scope, fees, and refund terms are governed by a separate written agreement. No clinic can buy a higher ranking, a better score, or a favourable review from us. A clinic appearing here means its profile passed our compilation and verification — it does not mean we guarantee its results. Our consultants never make medical promises on a clinic's behalf and never guarantee success rates, costs, or outcomes; anything a clinic tells you binds only when that clinic puts it in writing. If you believe a review is false, report it to [email protected] and we will investigate.
9. Where responsibility sits
Choices you make using this site, and their consequences, are yours. ProIVF is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the information on this site. This disclaimer, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and ProIVF.
