Dr. Amy Hearne is an OB/GYN specialist at Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude from Pennsylvania State University and earned her medical degree from SUNY Syracuse Medical School (1999). After a subinternship in Reproductive Endocrinology at UNC Chapel Hill, Dr. Hearne completed her OB/GYN residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital (2003).
Dr. Hearne served as editor of The Johns Hopkins Manual of Obstetrics and Gynecology and authored chapters on endometriosis and labor and delivery. She has published research on HPV and tocolytic agents. She also traveled to Thailand to help establish a cervical cancer screening program, demonstrating her commitment to global women’s health.
After residency, Dr. Hearne practiced at Women’s Health Care Associates for two years before joining Advanced Reproductive Specialists / JCRM.
