About
Dr. Mathi Arasu Muthusamy is medical director of GenPrime Everlink Fertility Centre in Shah Alam, where he oversees clinical care and quality across the clinic’s IVF, ICSI, genetic testing and fertility preservation programs. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in assisted reproduction, he has helped over 3,000 families achieve pregnancy (clinic and partner disclosures), and he holds a master’s degree in obstetrics and gynaecology from the University of Malaya plus membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
His training has been deliberately international: he worked and trained alongside Australian reproductive medicine leader Dr. Michael Chapman and physicians at the Oxford Fertility Centre in the UK, adding diplomas in IVF and reproductive medicine (German-UAE programme, 2018) and a clinical ART course at Singapore’s National University Hospital (2018). Before leading Ever-Link since its 2018 founding, he was associated with Fertility Associates Malaysia, an RTAC-audited practice.
In December 2025 he was selected as a judge for the inaugural World Fertility Awards in New York City — an international recognition that also reflects the GenPrime/Rhea Fertility network’s clinical profile, which spans Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, Singapore and the Philippines.
Clinical Expertise
- IVF and ICSI full-cycle management: from stimulation protocol choice — antagonist, microdose flare, Mild IVF — through trigger, retrieval, fertilisation and transfer
- Male factor infertility: diagnosis and surgical sperm retrieval (PESA, TESA) for azoospermic patients, combined with ICSI
- PGT programs: PGT-A aneuploidy screening, PGT-M for single-gene diseases such as thalassemia, PGT-SR for structural rearrangements, and non-invasive NICS screening
- Advanced maternal age and low reserve: individualized stimulation, including mild approaches, plus repeated implantation failure workups using ERA and systematic RIF evaluation
- Fertility preservation: egg and embryo vitrification for cancer patients and women planning to defer childbearing
Why Choose Dr. Mathi Arasu
Twenty years and more than 3,000 constructed families give Dr. Mathi Arasu pattern recognition across the hardest IVF scenarios — advanced age, prior failures, combined male and female factors — and his cross-training in Australia, the UK, Germany’s Middle East diploma programme and Singapore means patients at Ever-Link receive protocols that circulate in those larger markets rather than locally frozen habits.
His invitation to judge the World Fertility Awards placed him in the room with the industry’s leading clinics and technology providers, and as medical director of GenPrime’s Malaysia hub he maintains active academic exchange with the network’s clinicians in the US, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. He also communicates directly with international patients in English and Malay, which removes the interpreter layer many couples worry about when treating abroad.
