About
Dr. Thitikorn Wanichkul is the founder and medical director of 101 Bangkok IVF (Worldwide Fertility Center), a specialist fertility clinic on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. He is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 20 years of experience in patient care, infertility treatment, and gynecologic surgery.
His subspecialty training took him to the United States, where he studied infertility treatment at Emory University School of Medicine and advanced laparoscopic and laser surgery at the Chattanooga Women Laser Center. This combination of reproductive endocrinology and surgical skill shapes his approach: treating the underlying gynecologic condition, then applying assisted reproductive technology where needed.
Before founding his own clinic, Dr. Wanichkul held leadership roles at major Bangkok hospitals, including Head of Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery at Phramongkutklao Hospital and Director of both the IVF Center and the Laparoscopic Surgery Center at Phyathai 2 Hospital. He founded Worldwide IVF Center in 2019 and subsequently established 101 Bangkok IVF, where he personally oversees patients from initial consultation through embryo transfer.
Clinical Expertise
- IVF and ICSI: full cycle management from ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval to fertilization, blastocyst culture, and embryo transfer, with individualized protocols
- PGT-A / NGS embryo screening: chromosomal analysis of embryos to select euploid embryos for transfer and reduce miscarriage risk
- Gynecologic laparoscopic surgery: minimally invasive treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and tubal disease as part of a fertility strategy
- Female infertility evaluation: hormone assessment (AMH, FSH, LH, E2), ultrasound monitoring, and tailored treatment planning
- Fertility preservation: egg freezing and embryo cryopreservation for patients planning pregnancy later
Why Choose Dr. Thitikorn Wanichkul
Dr. Wanichkul’s US training at Emory University School of Medicine and the Chattanooga Women Laser Center gives him a treatment approach uncommon among Bangkok clinic founders: he is equally comfortable operating a laparoscope and managing an IVF laboratory protocol. Patients with surgically correctable causes of infertility do not need to be referred elsewhere — the evaluation, surgery, and assisted reproduction can happen under one physician in one clinic.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience and prior directorships of two hospital-based fertility and surgical units, he has built the clinic’s entire pathway — including same-day basic diagnostics — around efficient, individualized care for both local and international patients.
