About
Dr. Li Jianming is the laboratory director of INCITA Fertility Center’s embryology operation, having joined in June 2019. He moved to the United States in 1989 and completed both his master’s degree and PhD in reproductive physiology at Cornell University under Prof. Robert H. Foote, researching in vitro fertilization and embryo development.
His NIH-funded research team developed embryo culture systems that made significant contributions to the human embryo culture systems in worldwide use. Over a 30-plus-year career he has directed embryology laboratories at Weill Cornell Medical College, Abington Memorial Hospital, the Medical Office for Human Reproduction, New Hope Fertility Center and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he was an associate professor (2014–2018).

Why Choose Dr. Li Jianming
It is unusual for a Cambodian clinic to have a laboratory led by a U.S. HCLD-credentialed director who also trains and audits other laboratories as a CAP inspector. Dr. Li’s background — Cornell research on embryo culture, NIH-funded development of culture systems used globally, and two decades directing American reproductive laboratory programs — is the technical backbone behind INCITA’s claim of a U.S.-standard, CAP/CLIA-modeled PGS laboratory. For patients considering PGT cycles or egg freezing, his personal oversight of biopsy and cryopreservation quality is one of the strongest verifiable credentials in the clinic’s team.
Suitable For
- Patients needing PGS/PGD genetic screening: blastocyst biopsy expertise ensures accurate embryo sampling for hereditary disease families and aneuploidy screening
- Egg freezing patients: a documented high pregnancy record in oocyte cryopreservation supports fertility preservation planning
- Complex IVF cases: patients with repeated failure benefit from U.S.-standard laboratory protocols and quality control
