About
Li Xuefu is a senior embryologist at INCITA Fertility Center, working in the lab since 2018 and in assisted reproduction since 2002, when he joined the reproductive laboratory of the Reproductive Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University. He earned his master’s degree in cell biology from Jilin University’s Bethune Medical School in 2010.
From 2004 he carried out single-gene disease research — the scientific foundation of PGT-M genetic disease blocking — and from 2013 served as core laboratory staff. His PGD training came through programs at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, CITIC-Xiangya Reproductive & Genetic Hospital (China’s largest genetic-testing IVF center) and Shandong University’s reproductive medicine program, supplemented by a clinical attachment at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children.

Why Choose Li Xuefu
For families trying to block a hereditary disease, the embryologist performing the biopsy is as consequential as the geneticist reading it — and Li Xuefu has been doing this work since 2004, when single-gene research was still rare in Chinese IVF labs. His training pipeline ran through CITIC-Xiangya, the country’s flagship genetics-and-fertility hospital, and he brings more than two decades of continuous laboratory practice to INCITA’s PGT-M/PGT-SR programs. His cryopreservation skills extend the same precision to egg and embryo freezing.
Suitable For
- Families with hereditary disease or recurrent miscarriage: PGD/PGS biopsy experience dating to 2004
- Egg and embryo freezing patients: two decades of vitrification practice for fertility preservation
- Repeated IVF failure patients: laboratory-side optimization of fertilization, culture and handling
