About
Dr. Liu Yubing is a senior embryologist at INCITA Fertility Center, having joined the Phnom Penh laboratory in January 2024. He completed his doctorate in animal embryology at Guangxi University’s State Key Laboratory for Conservation and Utilization of Subtropical Agricultural Bioresources (2010–2013), including two years of jointly supervised training at the University of Georgia in the United States on a China Scholarship Council fellowship.
His path runs from basic science to the clinic: postdoctoral research at the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (Chinese Academy of Sciences), leadership of a translational medicine research center in Zhengzhou, then seven years (2016–2023) at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Shanghai Tenth People’s Hospital (Tongji University), rising from embryologist to head of the embryology room. He has also lectured at Tongji University and serves as an executive committee member of the Reproductive Testing Branch of the China Sexology Association.

Why Choose Dr. Liu Yubing
Dr. Liu is the research profile of INCITA’s embryology team: an NIH-analog (NSFC) grantee with publications in the field’s two flagship journals and hands-on experience running an embryology room inside a university tertiary hospital. For patients whose cycles depend on culture conditions — poor responders, repeated poor embryo quality — his strength is protocol-level optimization grounded in developmental biology rather than routine alone. He brought that combination to INCITA in 2024.
Suitable For
- Patients needing high-standard embryo laboratory support: leadership experience in a top public hospital embryology unit
- Complex embryology cases: research-based insight into individualized culture strategies for difficult embryo cohorts
- Patients valuing science-driven care: active publication record ensures techniques reflect current literature
