About
Peng Wenlin is the founder, president and chief embryologist of INCITA Fertility Center in Phnom Penh. He belongs to the very first generation of PGT (third-generation IVF) embryologists in China, with close to 20 years devoted specifically to genetic-testing-based embryo work.
He began his career (2000–2004) as a technical backbone at the Reproductive Medicine Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University — the birthplace of China’s first PGT baby. Moving to Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital (2004–2006), he led the IVF laboratory and completed Hong Kong’s first pregnancy using in vitro maturation of immature eggs (IVM + IVF). He then headed the laboratory at New Hope Fertility Center in the United States (2006–2014), founded Macao Ivy Medical Center’s laboratory operation (2014–2017), and in 2018 established INCITA Fertility Center, where he serves as president and laboratory director.

- Full embryology laboratory leadership: blastocyst culture, ICSI, vitrification, lab design and quality systems
- Integrated clinical-embryology case review for repeated implantation failure and advanced-age patients
Certifications
- Embryology training and practice at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University reproductive program
- Laboratory leadership standards developed at New Hope Fertility Center, United States

Why Choose Dr. Peng Wenlin
Few fertility specialists have led embryology laboratories on the mainland, in Hong Kong, in the United States and in Macao — and fewer still did it before taking on hospital-wide leadership. As one of China’s first PGT embryologists, Peng has spent close to two decades at the bench performing genetic embryo testing, and his 2004 IVM breakthrough demonstrated the technique’s feasibility in Asia. At INCITA he remains hands-on: patients consult directly with him by video before travel, and his laboratory standards — built to U.S. specifications — anchor the hospital’s self-reported 83.2% success rate in its first-attempt patient population. He is a rare combination of bench embryologist and clinical director.
Suitable For
- Patients needing third-generation IVF (PGT): families with hereditary disease risk or recurrent miscarriage benefit from his two decades of PGT laboratory leadership
- Complex and repeated-failure cases: cross-market experience offers alternative protocols when other centers have failed
- IVM candidates: patients with egg maturation disorders or PCOS-related immature egg recovery can access one of the technique’s Hong Kong pioneers
