About Dr. Whynott
Dr. Rachel Whynott is a double board-certified physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at RPSD. She provides comprehensive fertility care — fertility preservation, egg freezing, IVF, IUI and tubal ligation reversal — and is highly skilled in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures including hysteroscopy, laparoscopic surgery and robotic-assisted surgery.
Dr. Whynott has a special interest in endometriosis, fibroids, ovulation disorders, PCOS and Asherman’s syndrome, and also provides expert care for individuals with congenital gynecologic anomalies. Her practice spans adolescents and adults, with a commitment to inclusive, affirming care for the LGBTQ+ community.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo, completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine (as Administrative Chief Resident), and her REI fellowship at the University of Iowa.
