About Dr. Agarwal
Dr. Sanjay Agarwal is an REI specialist at RPSD, and Clinical Professor & Director of Fertility Services in the UC San Diego Department of Reproductive Medicine. He also directs the UCSD Center for Endometriosis Research and Treatment (CERT). While conducting important research on infertility, PCOS and endometriosis, he enjoys providing personalized IVF to his patients.
Dr. Agarwal graduated from St. George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London, completed his OB/GYN residency at Duke University (1989-1993), and his REI fellowship at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai. He served on the Cedars-Sinai faculty for eight years as Director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine before moving to UC San Diego in 2003.
Dr. Agarwal is widely known for his endometriosis research focused on improving therapeutic options for women with this debilitating disease, and has been an invited speaker nationally and internationally.
