I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for JH fertility. I switched from shady grove Towson to JH August of 2025. After months of negligence that almost cost me my left dealing with Shady grove. My RE was Dr. Hinton and I must say she is world class and took time getting to the root cause of my infertility diagnose. The rest she ran, shady grove didn’t. My vitamin D was so low it was alarming, my insulin resistance was also really bad due to my PCOS. Dr. Hinton put a plan in place to fix that before suggesting any treatments to conceive. We did monitoring and given my age and having PCOs my husband and I decided that IVF was best. We had to egg retrievals one in October of 2025 and the first one didn’t go as planned, didn’t have the best quality of Euploid embryos. Dr. Hinton did not pressure us to do a second we wanted to, she switch up medication protocol and the second retrieval we were able to get more quality Euploid embryos. We did our first transfer in February 2026 and to my surprise Dr. Hinton was present for this. Which made me so happy. The transfer worked and I’m now 18 weeks! I couldn’t be more happier that I came to JH. From Tina, Vonnie, Carrie and the nurse who I shared a birthday with was nothing short of amazing! To all the REs who looked after me, offered me advice, helped with my treatment plan thank you! Thank you Dr. Hinton, nurse Stephanie and Megan!

Dr. Hinton is an exceptional reproductive endocrinologist. After years of feeling dismissed or gaslit by other doctors, she is one of the first physicians who truly listened to me. She never questioned my pain, my concerns, or my lived experience. Instead, she respected me every step of the way and collaborated with me as a full partner in my care. What makes Dr. Hinton extraordinary is that she pairs deep clinical expertise with genuine creativity. She didn’t force me into procedures that were painful or inappropriate for my body. When my cervical stenosis made certain tests difficult, she offered an alternative solution — a sedated HSG/transfer — without hesitation or judgment. Throughout my treatment, she remained open-minded, thoughtful, and willing to explore options, even the “wild” ideas I brought to her, including the use of Viagra suppositories. She always met my questions with curiosity and evidence, never ego. Over the course of almost a year and a half, we navigated so much together: an endometriosis surgery, three egg retrievals, and three transfers. And now, at 38, I am finally pregnant — something that would not have been possible without her guidance, skill, and unwavering support. I honestly didn’t think that would be a possibility for me. Many doctors can be kind and comforting, but what truly sets Dr. Hinton apart was her honesty, her straightforwardness, and her determination to get real results. She didn’t just support me emotionally — she actively fought for the best medical outcome. She was once recommended to me and now I pass on that recommendation to anyone looking for an excellent fertility doctor. Oh, and she’s an over achiever, I'm actually pregnant with twins.

IVF GC — Check in: I did fill out the majority of the required forms online the day before my appointment, which made getting checked in pretty quick. Bloodwork/Labs: The lady who did my bloodwork was kind, quick, and efficient! Staff/Appt: The rest of my appointment went smoothly, the nurses and doctors were kind, attentive, patient, positive, & funny. I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment here, and had no issues whatsoever! I felt cared for as a person, not just another number on a page, and everything was explained in depth so I was never lost or confused 😊 10/10 would reccommend this clinic!!!

My husband and I are so thankful to JH Fertility for their care throughout our IVF process! Dr. Moragianni was thorough as she explained every step of the process to us. Julie was great and I got to see her frequently for my appointments. Vonnie at the front desk is hilarious and always made me laugh, even during the tough appointments. Ms. Carrie always took my blood perfectly and always had me in and out quickly. She told me that she doesn’t get many updates after we get released so if someone could let her know that we are pregnant with a healthy baby boy :), I would appreciate it! To Rebecca on the surgical team, thank for the all-you-can-eat veggie straws, I now have an addiction. I cannot thank the staff at JH fertility enough for giving us the one thing that has been missing from our lives for so long! THANK YOU!!! I’m shocked by the number of 1 star reviews. Johns Hopkins Fertility Center (JHFC) has been nothing but a positive, uplifting and supportive experience for me after wasting two years at Shady Grove Fertility (SGF). The experiences have been night and day. At SGF the doctors are like the Wizard of Oz that sit behind a computer locked in an office all day. The only time you ever interact with them is doing your consultation or when there’s bad news. Every ultrasound and procedure is performed by a tech, reviewed by the doctor and then the nurse is the one that communicates results. There are never appointments or interactions with the doctors. At JHFC you see a doctor at every appointment and have one primary doctor that manages your case closely. And although you don’t always see the same doctor at your appointments, every single doctor, resident, nurse and tech I’ve interacted with has been professional, transparent and sympathetic. Everyone is kind and positive… at SGF good luck— you may meet one or two decent people but overall they’re all disgruntled and detached. A special shout out to Dr. Hosseinzadeh. She’s inquisitive, she listens and she’s thoughtful in prescribing the protocol that is right for your individual situation. Dr. Hosseinzadeh leverages her professional colleagues to collaboratively find solutions and she’s clear in communication with other doctors and us as patients. Dr. Baker and Dr. Moragianni are also great…great bedside manner, willing to spend time explaining things and forthcoming. For anyone reading these reviews and focusing on the negative— I cannot warn you enough: do not waste your time at SGF. They don’t put the rigor and science into the process, they blindly follow the same, boring protocols and can’t explain things. Also, SGF is managed by an investment firm (do you want venture capitalist making decisions about your health!?)… JHFC is the real deal. You’ll get answers and plans there. Yea, there have been a few logistical hiccups at JHFC but that’s par for the course. No matter the medical field, you always have to be your own advocate and be proactive in managing your health, especially something as complex as fertility treatments. JHFC is doing it right. Kudos to JHFC and the entire team there.
