About
Dr. Chang-Chih Hsieh is vice medical director of Dr. Wang Reproductive Fertility Center (W BestIVF) in Taipei. He graduated from Kaohsiung Medical University’s School of Medicine and completed his residency and chief residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, one of Taiwan’s largest OB-GYN training programs, before serving as a senior obstetrician at a private maternity hospital and then as a research fellow in the Infertility Division of Taipei Medical University Hospital — the same division once led by center founder Dr. Chia-Wei Wang.
That shared TMU background is the basis of his close collaboration with Dr. Wang: at W BestIVF he handles a large share of first consultations, stimulation monitoring and surgical cases, and co-manages complex patients with the founder.
What distinguishes Dr. Hsieh within the team is his triple skill set — obstetrics, gynecologic surgery and reproductive medicine. Patients who need a polyp removed, a fibroid addressed or adhesions cleared before embryo transfer can have the surgery and the IVF cycle coordinated by the same physician inside one clinic, instead of being bounced between a hospital gynecology department and a fertility center.
Clinical Expertise
- Infertility workup: systematic evaluation of ovulatory disorders, tubal factors and endometrial causes, with individualized treatment planning
- IUI and IVF cycle management: ovulation induction, stimulation monitoring, egg retrieval support and embryo transfer as part of the center’s reproductive team
- Laparoscopic surgery: minimally invasive myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy and endometriosis surgery performed with fertility preservation in mind
- Hysteroscopic surgery: removal of endometrial polyps, intrauterine adhesions and septa to optimize the lining before transfer
- Gynecologic oncology surgery and high-risk pregnancy care: surgical oncology experience and obstetric training that support patients with complex medical backgrounds
Why Choose Dr. Chang-Chih Hsieh
His Chang Gung chief-residency foundation gives him unusually strong operative credentials for a fertility clinic setting, which matters most for infertility patients with structural uterine or ovarian disease. The TMU Hospital infertility fellowship then specialized that surgical skill toward reproduction, so he can sequence treatment correctly: correct the cavity first, stimulate and transfer second.
For international patients, the practical benefit is continuity — assessment, surgery, stimulation and transfer all happen at one center with one physician who works directly alongside the medical director, reducing the referral hops and lost time that make treatment abroad stressful.
