About
Anna Vanderhoff publishes the way academic physicians do and practices community IVF: close to 30 peer-reviewed papers to her name, a Harvard Medical School teaching award, and a clinical focus on the cases that generate most of that literature — recurrent pregnancy loss and Asherman syndrome (intrauterine scarring), alongside fertility preservation and donor eggs. She is the research-active generalist of the group: someone who reads the trials and brings the findings to the exam room.
She graduated with honors from Stanford University as an undergraduate, then from the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she received a women’s health excellence award. Her specialty training was entirely in the Harvard system — obstetrics and gynecology residency at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General hospitals, and a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Brigham and Women’s — with a quality-improvement award from Massachusetts General along the way. She joined the Pinnacle network in 2025.
Her clinical interests cover the uterine and immunologic edge of reproduction: she treats Asherman syndrome with hysteroscopic surgery, evaluates recurrent loss, and manages preservation and donor-egg cycles. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), and a member of ASRM and SREI; the sources record her fellowship training rather than a board-certification date.

Why Choose Dr. Vanderhoff
A physician who reads the literature and writes it. Nearly 30 peer-reviewed papers and a Harvard teaching award put her closer to the evidence base than most clinic profiles imply.
She works the hard uterine cases. Recurrent loss and Asherman syndrome are diagnostic puzzles and surgical problems at once; both are named clinical interests, not occasional cases.
Fully Harvard-trained in the specialty. Residency at Brigham and Women’s / Massachusetts General and fellowship at Brigham and Women’s, with an MGH quality-improvement award.
