About
Dr. Chayanis Apirakviriya is an obstetrics, gynaecology and reproductive medicine specialist who entered the field as a First Class Honors graduate of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Medicine. Her clinical training spans general OB-GYN practice plus three highly subspecialized areas — reproductive medicine, sexual medicine and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery — an interdisciplinary combination that is rare among Thai specialists.
In practice she integrates these perspectives when treating infertility patients: endocrine and reproductive function assessment, investigation of structural gynecological disease that can impair fertility, and attention to the patient’s overall physical and psychological wellbeing. She previously ran a Saturday specialist clinic at BNH Hospital’s Women’s Health Centre, and as of August 2026 she practises at Bumrungrad International Hospital and MedPark Hospital in Bangkok.
Practice Update
Verification in August 2026 found Dr. Chayanis listed at Bumrungrad International Hospital and MedPark Hospital (Obstetrics and Gynecology / Reproductive Medicine); she no longer appears in BNH Hospital’s official doctor directory. If you plan to see her at BNH, please confirm her current clinic schedule through the hospital’s doctor search before booking.
Clinical Expertise
- Infertility evaluation and assisted reproduction (IVF/ICSI cycle management)
- Reproductive endocrinology: hormonal drivers of infertility and ovulation disorders
- Sexual medicine in the fertility context: painful intercourse, hormonal sexual health issues and couple-based concerns
- Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery: laparoscopic and hysteroscopic treatment of uterine and ovarian pathology affecting fertility
Why Choose Dr. Chayanis Apirakviriya
Chulalongkorn University is Thailand’s highest-ranked university, and its medical faculty is extremely selective; First Class Honors graduation reflects consistently top academic performance throughout medical school. Beyond that foundation, Dr. Chayanis holds four Thai Medical Council certifications — the OB-GYN board plus sub-boards in Reproductive Medicine, Sexual Medicine and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Because Thai sub-board diplomas require additional training and rigorous exams after the base specialty, this four-way credential set signals unusual cross-disciplinary depth: she can diagnose an endocrine problem, treat its sexual-medicine dimension, and, when a structural cause is found, operate herself through a minimally invasive route. Her former Saturday clinic at BNH was designed for working patients who cannot attend on weekdays.
Certifications
