About
Dr. Jirath is a reproductive medicine specialist at iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center in Bangkok, where he has been part of the clinical team since 2010, working alongside founder Dr. Pisit Tantiwattanakul. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from a leading Thai medical school and is a member of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RTCOG).
His day-to-day practice covers the full IVF/ICSI pathway — from diagnosis and ovarian stimulation through egg retrieval to embryo transfer — for couples from more than 25 countries served by the center. He is known for a communicative, patient-first consulting style, tailoring each stimulation protocol to the patient’s age, ovarian reserve and underlying cause of infertility.
Clinical Expertise
- IVF (In Vitro Fertilization): full-cycle management from ovarian stimulation and follicle monitoring to embryo transfer
- ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection): fertilization for male factor infertility such as low count or reduced motility
- Ovulation induction and follicle monitoring: medication protocols with transvaginal ultrasound and hormone tracking
- Personalized stimulation design: protocols adjusted for age, ovarian response and diagnosis, including PCOS and poor-responder cases
- Unexplained infertility and advanced maternal age: evidence-based sequencing from IUI to IVF/ICSI
Why Choose Dr. Jirath
Extensive IVF/ICSI experience: Dr. Jirath has spent more than fifteen years in the IVF laboratory-to-clinic workflow at iBaby, giving him hands-on judgment in stimulation tuning, trigger timing and transfer decisions.
International patient experience: as a core member of iBaby’s medical team, he treats patients referred from across Asia, Europe and the Americas, coordinating with the clinic’s Chinese-English-Thai support team and remote consultation process.
Multidisciplinary collaboration: he works directly with iBaby’s UK NEQAS-accredited embryology and andrology laboratories, so stimulation plans, sperm handling and genetic testing options are decided as one pathway rather than in silos.
Individualized protocols: patient testimonials and the clinic’s materials emphasize his detailed communication and customization of treatment plans, an advantage for patients who have received one-size-fits-all protocols elsewhere.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Jirath is a member of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RTCOG) and completed formal specialty training in reproductive medicine in Thailand. He has been on the iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center team since its founding year, 2010.
Suitable For
- Couples needing IVF or ICSI: complete assisted reproduction cycles managed from stimulation to transfer within one clinic, backed by in-house embryology.
- Tubal factor infertility: for blocked or damaged fallopian tubes, IVF bypasses the tubal factor entirely and is the standard effective route.
- Male factor infertility: oligozoospermia and asthenozoospermia cases benefit from the clinic’s MACS, PICSI and microfluidic sperm selection combined with ICSI.
- Patients needing a tailored stimulation plan: PCOS, ovulation disorders and diminished ovarian reserve patients who require individualized medication strategies and close monitoring.
