iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center — Bangkok Fertility & IVF Clinic
About iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center
iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center was established by Dr. Pisit Tantiwattanakul in Bangkok in 2010 as a specialty clinic focused on reproductive medicine and genetics. The center provides counseling, diagnosis and pre-pregnancy planning for couples with infertility, along with IVF/ICSI treatment and preimplantation genetic testing. According to the clinic’s own materials, patients have come from more than 25 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
iBaby publishes age-specific embryo transfer success rates on its official website (Why iBaby page): 85% under age 30, 79% at 30-34, 62% at 35-39, 51% at 40-44, and 33% at 45 and above, with an overall rate above 75% (clinic-reported figures, not independently audited).
The clinic expanded its technology step by step (source: iBaby official website): PGT-A by FISH in 2011, the full fertility-and-genetics center build-out in 2015, next-generation sequencing (NGS) for PGT-A in 2016, NGS-based PGT-M plus acupuncture and fertility massage in 2017, PGT-SR for balanced translocations in 2018, DNA fragmentation index (DFI) testing with MACS and PICSI sperm handling in 2019, and the “iBaby Robot” assisted workflow in 2020.

Local Legal Framework
Thailand is one of Asia’s leading destinations for assisted reproduction. IVF and ICSI are legal for couples treated for infertility, and PGT-A and PGT-M embryo genetic screening are permitted. Egg donation is allowed but strictly regulated and subject to specific conditions. Under the Protection of Children Born by Medical Technologies Assisted Reproduction Act B.E. 2558 (2015), commercial surrogacy is prohibited, and non-commercial surrogacy is restricted to married couples with Thai citizenship. International patients receiving treatment at iBaby do so under these same national rules.
