About
Dr. Pisit Tantiwattanakul is the founder and Medical Director of iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center, which he established in Bangkok in 2010 as a specialty clinic for reproductive medicine and genetics. Under his direction, the clinic has grown into an internationally oriented IVF center serving patients from more than 25 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Dr. Pisit earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from a leading Thai medical school and is a member of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RTCOG), with a dual background in obstetrics-gynaecology and reproductive medicine.
He has steered iBaby’s technology roadmap in person — from FISH-based PGT-A in 2011 to NGS-based PGT-A (2016), PGT-M (2017), PGT-SR (2018), DFI, MACS and PICSI sperm assessment (2019) and robot-assisted lab work (2020) — and leads a team of doctors, nurses, researchers and embryologists trained at institutions in Australia, Japan and Spain. Patient testimonials on the clinic’s website repeatedly credit him for one-transfer successes and completed families.
Clinical Expertise
- IVF (In Vitro Fertilization): full-cycle management from individualized ovarian stimulation to embryo transfer
- ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection): precision fertilization for male factor infertility
- PGT-A / PGT-M / PGT-SR: NGS-based preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy, single-gene disease and structural rearrangements
- Egg and embryo freezing: vitrification programs backed by the clinic’s CRYOTEC 100 Survival Club certification
- Advanced sperm handling: MACS magnetic sorting, PICSI physiological selection and DFI DNA fragmentation testing
- Complex cases: advanced maternal age, recurrent implantation failure and hereditary disease family planning
Why Choose Dr. Pisit Tantiwattanakul
Founder-level continuity (since 2010): as both founder and Medical Director, Dr. Pisit personally oversees clinical quality and treatment standards at iBaby rather than rotating between clinics. Patients are treated by the physician who built the center’s protocols.
15+ years in assisted reproduction: he has accumulated more than fifteen years of hands-on IVF experience since founding the clinic, with a case mix spanning infertility from 25+ countries. The clinic’s own website reports an overall embryo transfer success rate above 75%, and 51% even in the 40-44 age band.
Genetics-first practice: his subspecialty emphasis is the combination of IVF with in-house preimplantation genetic testing — a natural fit for families carrying hemophilia, thalassemia, G6PD and other hereditary conditions, which the clinic covers extensively in its patient education.
Multilingual international team: Dr. Pisit leads a team that coordinates care in Chinese, English and Thai, with remote video consultation and home-country follow-up built into iBaby’s patient journey.

Suitable For
- Patients with infertility at advanced maternal age: the clinic publishes age-banded success rates (85% under 30, 51% at 40-44 per its official website), and Dr. Pisit designs faster-decision protocols where time matters.
- Couples after repeated IVF failure: access to ERA, EMMA/ALICE, PRP ovarian regeneration support and the full MACS/PICSI/microfluidic sperm toolbox allows a systematic re-work of failed cycles.
- International remote patients: structured video consultation, travel coordination and post-transfer remote pregnancy monitoring make treatment possible without long stays in Thailand.
- Families needing embryo genetic screening: PGT-M for single-gene diseases and PGT-SR for translocations are run in-house on NGS platforms, suited to carriers of inherited conditions.
