Dr. Ramasamy Ramanathan is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Metro IVF in Selangor. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Crimean Federal University, Ukraine in 2009, then completed housemanship and medical officer training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Ipoh.

He continued his postgraduate training through the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK), attaining MRCOG membership in 2019. He has since collected a broad set of international credentials — FACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), FRSPH (Royal Society for Public Health, UK) and FICS (International College of Surgeons, USA) — and holds a certificate in assisted reproductive technology obtained in Singapore.

An active member of both ASRM and ESHRE, Dr. Ramasamy serves on the RCOG Malaysia committee and the FOCUS UK MRCOG examination board, and delivers online teaching for medical students at UKM, UNIMAS and UiTM.
