Dr. Akari Torimitsu is a physician in the OB-GYN and reproductive medicine team at Kiba Park Reproductive Center (Kiba Park Clinic) in Tokyo. A Tokyo native, she graduated from the University of the Ryukyus Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed her early training at Naha City Hospital.
She then built her clinical career through university and major general hospitals — The University of Tokyo Hospital, Teikyo University Chiba Medical Center and JR Tokyo General Hospital — before entering the University of Tokyo graduate school’s doctoral program in reproductive, developmental and aging medicine in 2012.
