Prof. Unnop Jaisamrarn is a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology and reproductive medicine specialist at BNH Hospital’s Women’s Health Centre in Bangkok, with more than 38 years of combined clinical and academic experience at Chulalongkorn University. He graduated with First Class Honors in medicine from Chulalongkorn, earned a Master of Health Science at Johns Hopkins University, and completed epidemiology training at UCLA and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
His clinical interests cover reproductive medicine, infertility, menopause and osteoporosis. Nationally and internationally he has held a dense series of leadership roles: President of the Asia-Pacific Menopause Federation, Chair of the AOFOG Committee on Sexual Health and Reproduction, President of the Menopause Society of Thailand, President of the Osteoporosis Foundation of Thailand, Secretary-General of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2019-2021), and, from 2025, a seat on FIGO’s Expert Forum on Sexual and Reproductive Rights.
