Dr. Wiwat Quangkananurug is the founder and CEO of SAFE Fertility Group, which he established in 2007 and grew into Thailand’s first fertility center accredited under the Australian RTAC scheme. He earned his MD with honors from Prince of Songkla University in 1988, completed OB-GYN specialty training at Rajvithi Hospital in 1994, and took an Assisted Reproductive Technology certificate at the National University of Singapore in 2000.
He began practicing as an infertility physician in the late 1990s at Synphaet Hospital, founding its SMART CENTER ART unit in 2000 before opening Safe Fertility Center at Srisiam Hospital in 2007. His guiding conviction — that a comprehensive fertility center built on cutting-edge laboratory technology delivers higher success rates and safer care — still shapes SAFE’s in-house embryology and genetics program today.
