Patient Journey

Local Legal Framework

Thailand regulates assisted reproduction under the Protection of Children Born by Assisted Reproductive Technology Act B.E. 2558 (2015). Under this framework IVF, ICSI and egg freezing are fully legal with written informed consent, and PGT is permitted for medical and genetic indications. Commercial surrogacy is prohibited — surrogacy is restricted to non-commercial arrangements between relatives with at least one Thai spouse. Foreign patients undergoing treatment at Thai fertility centers are generally required to present a valid marriage certificate.
