About
Dr. Edward Illions joined the Fertility Center of Miami in 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Medical Director of Advanced Reproductive Medicine at the University of Colorado and was the Practice Director at Montefiore’s Institute for Reproductive Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he also developed and led their Fertility Preservation Program.
Dr. Illions completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology while serving in the U.S. Air Force at the National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He acquired training in reproductive surgery, advanced reproductive technologies including IVF, and the management of complex endocrine disorders in women. He completed his medical career in the Air Force in 1993 as a Lieutenant Colonel and then joined the faculty at the University of Florida as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology in the Jacksonville campus.
