Dr. Fernando Akerman has been practicing at the Fertility Center of Miami since 1999. Originally from Argentina, he is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and is board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Akerman graduated with honors from the University of Buenos Aires and completed his internship in Pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (New York), his OB/GYN residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and his REI fellowship at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. He is an active speaker at numerous international fertility meetings.
