About
Dr. Pokpong Pansrikaew is a fertility specialist at Genea Thailand, the Bangkok clinic of the Australian Genea Group. His guiding principle is that assisted reproduction works best when each couple’s protocol is tailor-made — built from their specific cause of infertility, age, and treatment history — rather than run from a standard template.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Chiang Mai University’s Faculty of Medicine, completed residency at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital, and gained Thai Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology in 2007. He then subspecialized twice more: gynecologic endoscopic surgery at Rajavithi Hospital (2010) and the Thai Sub-board Diploma in Reproductive Medicine (2013), after clinical work at Supamitr General Hospital and Police General Hospital.
Before joining Genea Thailand in 2023, he accumulated more than a decade of hands-on ART practice at several of Thailand’s best-known fertility centers — Takara IVF Bangkok (2013-2014), Superior A.R.T (2015-2017, a clinic working within the Genea network), and the Jetanin Institute for Assisted Reproduction (2017-2023) — carrying that cross-institution experience into Genea’s Australian-standard protocols.
Clinical Expertise
- IVF (In Vitro Fertilization): full-cycle care from stimulation design through embryo transfer, individualized by age, ovarian reserve, and prior response
- ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection): precise injection for oligospermia, asthenozoospermia, and teratozoospermia, refined across multiple high-volume IVF centers
- Gynecologic endoscopic surgery: certificate-trained in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures, allowing surgical and ART treatment to be planned together
- PGT-supported cycles: embryo genetic testing experience accumulated at Superior A.R.T and Jetanin Institute
- Endometriosis and PCOS infertility: combined surgical and reproductive management for patients whose pathology affects conception
Why Choose Dr. Pokpong Pansrikaew
Dr. Pansrikaew is part of a small group of Thai fertility doctors who hold both a reproductive medicine sub-specialty diploma and a ministry-certified gynecologic endoscopy qualification. For patients with surgically relevant infertility — endometriosis, uterine cavity issues — that means one physician can judge whether to operate, stimulate, or do both, instead of referring between departments.
His career path also gives him a rare comparison of Thai clinic cultures: Takara IVF, Superior A.R.T (a Genea partner clinic), and the renowned Jetanin Institute, each with different protocols and lab systems. Since 2023 he applies that breadth within Genea’s standardized Australian framework. He has published in cancer-related gynecologic research in The Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention (2010), on mast cell density and clinical outcomes in endometrial cancer.

He practices under the Genea Group’s shared clinical protocol and quality assurance system.
