Dr. Joshua Kapfhamer has served as Medical Director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) since 2018. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he completed both his MD and MA in Bioethics at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by an OB/GYN residency at the same institution and a Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

He has presented locally and nationally on infertility evaluation and treatment, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, ovarian torsion, endometriosis management, and chronic pelvic pain. His publications and research interests include cellular signaling in reproduction, optimizing IVF outcomes through single embryo transfer, ultrasound imaging in early pregnancy, and informed consent.
