About
Julian Escobar finished high school in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, then took a genetics degree at the University of Georgia with high honors and held research fellowships from the National Institutes of Health and Harvard Medical School — research training stacked before medical school — before earning his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed obstetrics and gynecology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago and returned to Dallas for his reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
He is board-certified in both reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology. His published research covers diminished ovarian reserve, pregnancy hormone secretion, PCOS, assisted reproductive technologies and reproductive surgery, presented at national scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. The surgical side is his named specialty: minimally invasive surgery and reproductive microsurgery, including tubal reversal and outpatient correction of uterine, tubal and ovarian abnormalities.
Escobar grew up in the DFW area and has lived in several Latin American countries; he consults in English and Spanish. He practices across the network’s Euless/Bedford, Dallas, McKinney and Frisco offices, and patient reviews for the Euless location name him repeatedly as their physician.
Clinical Expertise
- Reproductive microsurgery: tubal reversal and outpatient correction of uterine, tubal and ovarian abnormalities, done through minimally invasive approaches
- Assisted reproductive technology: his profile states command of all its aspects, from stimulation through transfer
- Diminished ovarian reserve: both a research subject and a clinical focus
- PCOS: researched and treated; one of the named areas of his publication record
- Spanish-language care: fluent, with years lived in Latin American countries — no interpreter needed
Why Choose Dr. Julian Escobar
A surgeon inside the IVF practice. Tubal factor infertility forces a choice: bypass the tubes with IVF, or repair them surgically. Escobar’s tubal reversal and outpatient corrective surgery background keeps the surgical route on the table — and his ART command means switching paths mid-plan costs nothing in experience.
The award record is unusually continuous. D Magazine Best Doctor by peer selection in 2013 and 2015-2024, Texas Monthly Super Doctor 2016-2022, Rising Star 2012-2014.
Research training from NIH and Harvard feeds into how he handles hard cases — diminished ovarian reserve and PCOS appear in both his publication record and his clinical interests.
Egg freezing, explained on camera. He appeared in an egg-freezing segment on NBC 5 DFW with anchor Bianca Castro.
No physician-level or office-level success rates are published for him or these offices; the network reports under a single SART entry covering its DFW locations, as the office pages explain.
Professional Affiliations
The SART CORS member profile lists Julian Escobar, MD as Medical Director for the network (ID 2004771); the CDC 2022 registry carries Derek Haas, MD in that field instead — the two registries assign the title differently within the same core team, so read either as registry-published, not settled. His research has been presented at national scientific conferences. The sources list no other society memberships under his name; the clinic page points instead to his public Facebook, Instagram and Google profiles.
