About
Dr. Junpei Toratani is a part-time physician at Kato Ladies Clinic since 2025. He graduated from Tohoku University School of Medicine in 2015 and spent the following decade in obstetrics and gynecology posts across northeastern Japan — Kesennuma City Hospital, Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University Wakabayashi Hospital, Sendai Medical Center, Osaki Citizen Hospital, Ishinomaki Red Cross Hospital and Tohoku University Hospital — before joining Tokyo’s leading IVF specialty clinic.
He contributes to KLC’s natural-cycle and minimal-stimulation program, where individualized monitoring replaces one-size-fits-all stimulation.

Why Choose Dr. Junpei Toratani
Dr. Toratani’s ten years of regional hospital practice — including university-hospital and Red Cross postings — gave him wide exposure to obstetric and gynecologic cases before he specialized further into fertility care at KLC. Patients benefit from a generalist’s breadth: pregnancy-related conditions, surgical gynecology and reproductive medicine handled with the perspective of a physician who has covered all three.
