About
Kathleen M. Brennan trained almost entirely inside one department. After an MD at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 2004, she completed her internship, Obstetrics and Gynecology residency (2008) and Reproductive Endocrinology fellowship (2011) all at UCLA, and is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2010) and in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility subspecialty (2013).
Her clinical focus reaches beyond routine IVF: endometriosis-related infertility, congenital (Mullerian) anomalies of the uterus, recurrent pregnancy loss and PCOS are all named areas of focus, which fits the anatomical and diagnostic work an academic fertility service handles.
She is recognized regionally, appearing on Super Doctors Southern California for 2022 to 2026 and Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2021 to 2025, and holds UCLA Health’s LGBTQ+ champion designation. Our sources list her as a physician on the center’s faculty and attending team; they do not record a program-director or named professorial title, so we do not assign one.
