About
Dr. Koji Nakagawa is the Director of Sugiyama Ob-Gyn Clinic Shinjuku. He graduated from Jichi Medical University in 1990, completed his initial residency at Tokushima University Hospital and Tokushima Prefectural Central Hospital, and practiced community obstetrics and gynecology at Tokushima Prefectural Miyoshi Hospital before turning to reproductive medicine at Tokushima University Hospital in 1996.
He subsequently led the OB-GYN department at Ehime Prefectural Central Hospital and served as an infertility physician at the National Center for Child Health and Development, one of Japan’s flagship public reproductive medicine institutions. He joined the Sugiyama group in 2008 and has headed the Shinjuku branch since it opened in 2018. With 35 years as a physician and 29 in reproductive medicine, he is board certified by the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Reproductive Medicine Specialist of the Japan Society for Reproductive Medicine, and a fellow of the American Society for Reproductive Immunology.
