About
Dr. Tsung-Hsien Li is an attending physician in the Division of Reproductive Medicine at Maosheng Fertility Center (Lee Women’s Hospital) in Taichung. He earned a PhD in clinical medicine from National Taiwan University, trained and practiced as an attending physician in NTU Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and later served as professor at Chung-Shan Medical University’s Institute of Medicine while directing that hospital’s Center for Reproductive Medicine.
His clinical range spans infertility, IVF, hormonal disorders, gynecologic oncology, endometriosis, and both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery — a “full-stack” profile that reflects doctoral-level training rather than purely procedural experience. In 2021 the Taichung City Medical Association recognized this combination with its Medical Devotion Award in the academic research category.
Clinical Expertise
- Infertility and IVF: Doctoral-level analysis of treatment failure, with stimulation strategy designed case by case for difficult presentations.
- Hormonal disorders: Systematic diagnosis and management of endocrine causes of infertility and menstrual dysfunction.
- Gynecologic tumors and endometriosis: Fertility-preservation-aware decision-making when tumors or endometriosis intersect with family planning.
- Hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery: One-stop surgical management of uterine cavity and pelvic factors that block conception.
Why Choose Dr. Tsung-Hsien Li
NTU doctoral training in clinical medicine The Institute of Clinical Medicine at National Taiwan University is among the country’s top biomedical research programs. His PhD training means infertility is analyzed at the mechanism level, not just treated from protocol checklists.
Two flagship reproductive centers in one CV From NTU Hospital’s OB-GYN department to the directorship of Chung-Shan Medical University’s reproductive center, he has run IVF operations inside two of Taiwan’s academic hospital systems — experience that brings a quality-control perspective to every step of the cycle.
Award-recognized scholarship The 2021 Medical Devotion Award (academic research) from the Taichung City Medical Association is formal recognition from the local medical community for contributions spanning research and clinical service.
