About
Dr. Yi-Ping Li is an attending physician in the Division of Reproductive Medicine at Maosheng Fertility Center (Lee Women’s Hospital). He graduated from the School of Medicine at National Taiwan University, completed reproductive training at NTU Hospital’s reproductive medicine center, and took a visiting fellowship at New York University’s reproductive center.
Before joining Maosheng, he directed the Reproductive Medicine Center at Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital — one of Taipei’s longest-established fertility centers — an appointment that reflects experience running a program end to end: protocol design, laboratory coordination, and quality control. He also served as adjunct attending physician in NTU Hospital’s OB-GYN department and held a Ministry-of-Education-accredited lecturer title alongside teaching at Fu Jen Catholic University.
At Maosheng his practice centers on IVF, IUI, hysteroscopy, and general infertility evaluation, applying director-level process discipline to individualized treatment plans.
Clinical Expertise
- IVF (in vitro fertilization): Full-cycle management informed by years of center-director oversight of stimulation, retrieval, and transfer workflow.
- IUI (intrauterine insemination): Precise case selection and cycle timing to identify couples who genuinely benefit from insemination before escalation.
- Hysteroscopy: Diagnosis and treatment of cavity factors — polyps, adhesions, septa — that impair implantation.
- Comprehensive infertility evaluation: Assessment planning shaped by both US (NYU) and Taiwan (NTU) fellowship perspectives.
