About
Lisa Becht ran the egg-freezing and oncofertility program at Columbia University Fertility Center before moving west — a role that put her in charge of the two hardest conversations in preservation medicine: a woman who wants to freeze her eggs before her career overtakes her biology, and a patient about to start chemotherapy. She is now a double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist at HRC Fertility’s Newport Beach and Mission Viejo clinics.
She trained the New York way: summa cum laude at Boston University, an MD with honors and Alpha Omega Alpha induction at Georgetown, then both residency and REI fellowship at Columbia University and New York-Presbyterian, where she also served as an assistant professor. She was named a Southern California Rising Star by Superdoctors and has won Vitals’ Most Compassionate Doctor and Patients’ Choice awards.
Fertility care has a public-facing side, and Becht has done it. She has appeared twice on the Today Show and been quoted in Goop, HuffPost, People en Español and Well+Good. She sees patients in English and Spanish.

Why Choose Dr. Becht
She led a preservation program, not just a patient panel. Directing egg freezing and oncofertility at Columbia means she built the workflows, not only used them.
Ivy-league training with teaching behind it. Columbia residency, Columbia fellowship, and an assistant professorship there.
A communicator patients trust on camera and in Spanish. Two Today Show appearances and bilingual care broaden who she can serve.
