About
Dr. Meg Hopeman is a Minnesota native who returned home for medical school at the University of Minnesota, trained in OB/GYN at Barnes-Jewish Hospital of Washington University in St. Louis, and completed her Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Hopeman believes listening is the foundation of good patient care. Her new patient visits last over an hour, ensuring she fully understands each patient’s history, values, concerns, and expectations. She practices evidence-based medicine at its core, helping patients distinguish genuinely effective treatments from marketing concepts.
She views each patient’s personal values as a vital part of treatment decisions. There are many ways to build a family, and her role is to empower patients with clear, honest information to choose the path that fits them best — not simply the path with the highest headline success rate.

Why Choose Dr. Meg Hopeman
New patient visits over an hour — evidence-based medicine in practice: Dr. Hopeman reserves more than an hour for initial consultations — rare in busy fertility clinics — giving patients time to be fully understood.
University of Pennsylvania REI fellowship: She completed specialty training at one of the nation’s top reproductive endocrinology programs, aligning her approach with academic frontiers.
Helping patients separate effective treatment from marketing: She is candid about real success rates and risks of each option, helping patients avoid overtreatment.
Respecting patient values: She believes “success” is defined differently by each patient and supports the family-building path that best matches their values.
