About
Mickey Coffler is board-certified in two countries. He holds the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certification in his specialty and certification from the Israel Medical Scientific Council in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and he moves between English, Hebrew and Romanian in the exam room. That combination makes him a natural fit for international and multilingual patients at HRC Fertility’s Carlsbad and San Diego clinics.
He trained on both sides of the Atlantic: an MD from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology’s Rappaport School of Medicine, OB/GYN residency split between Case Western Reserve / the Cleveland Clinic and Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, and an REI fellowship at UC San Diego, where he has practiced since 1999.
His clinical range is wide and specific at the same time — male-factor infertility and ICSI, third-party reproduction through donor egg, sperm and embryo as well as surrogacy, genetic disease prevention, family balancing and sex selection, plus PCOS, fibroids and recurrent pregnancy loss — and he gives deliberate weight to the mind-body side of treatment.
