About
Molly Quinn studies the part of IVF that patients never see: the embryology lab, and whether the outcomes it produces hold up decades later. Her research asks how the laboratory environment shapes IVF success, how to optimize pregnancy results after assisted reproduction, and whether the children born from those cycles are fine in the long run — a question most clinics never investigate. She brings that lab-and-consequence focus to her clinical practice at HRC Fertility Pasadena.
Her training is a West Coast through-line: Stanford for undergraduate work, the MD from UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine, then both residency and REI fellowship at UCSF, where she also completed an Advanced Training Certificate in Clinical Research. She holds a CREST award through ASRM, NICHD and Duke.
She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at USC’s Keck School of Medicine, chairs the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility’s Resident and Medical Student Education Committee, and won the SART Prize Paper Award in 2017. She is an LA Magazine Top Doctor and a SuperDoctors Southern California Rising Star, and she sees patients in English.
