About
Timothy Yeko is the research lead at The Reproductive Medicine Group. As the group’s Director of Research and its Medical Director for Assisted Reproductive Technology, he has been a principal investigator or co-investigator on more than thirty research trials, and he joined the practice in 2000. Before that he served as division director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of South Florida, so he brings an academic-department background to a private fertility clinic.
Dr. Yeko sees patients at the South Tampa and Brandon offices. South Tampa is the office this ProIVF page centers on, and he is one of the physicians who practices there. His ART-director role covers the technology side of treatment; the group’s egg retrievals and embryo transfers physically take place at the RMG IVF Surgery Center on Fletcher Avenue near the North Tampa office, not at South Tampa itself.
He holds board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility subspecialty. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, completed his OB/GYN residency at UCLA, began his reproductive endocrinology fellowship at UCLA-Harbor and finished it at the University of Illinois. He has a special interest in advanced operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, used to manage endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
