About
Vira Sirenko is Head of the IVF Department at the Dakhno Institute of Reproductive Medicine in Kyiv and one of the most experienced reproductive physicians at the institute. She studied medicine at Bogomolets National Medical University (1977-1983), trained as an obstetrician-gynecologist at Kyiv City Hospital No. 22, and completed postgraduate study at the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, earning her PhD in Medical Sciences in October 1993. A 1995 internship in Ulm, Germany, added European clinical exposure.
In practice since 1985, she has spent more than 40 years in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive medicine, and leads the department’s clinical standards and treatment pathways. Patients describe her as an excellent specialist who explains clearly and calmly, and she is a member of ESHRE, ASRM and UARM.

- Cycle monitoring: ultrasound-controlled stimulation of superovulation and endometrium preparation

- Hormonal disorders in women: management of endocrine dysfunction affecting fertility, plus pregnancy planning
Why Choose Vira Sirenko
As head of the IVF department, Dr. Sirenko sets the clinical standards her team works to — choosing her means being treated at the highest level of the institute directly, not by referral. Four decades of practice since 1985 give her rare breadth in cases where time and history matter most: advanced maternal age, diminished ovarian reserve and repeated IVF failure, where protocol decisions rest on experience as much as guidelines. Her PhD training and ESHRE/ASRM/UARM memberships keep that experience aligned with current European and US evidence, and patient reviews consistently highlight her clarity and calm communication.
