About
Dr. Ting-Feng Wu is an attending physician in the Division of Reproductive Medicine at Maosheng Fertility Center (Lee Women’s Hospital). He earned his MD at Chung-Shan Medical University, completed OB-GYN residency at the university’s affiliated hospital — a leading central-Taiwan training ground for the specialty — and rose to attending physician there, also serving as adjunct attending at Huwei St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yunlin. He broadened his fertility credentials as a research fellow in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Taichung Veterans General Hospital.
His practice unites two skill sets that patients rarely find in one physician: minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic tumors and reproductive medicine. That combination lets him answer the most common pre-IVF question — should this fibroid or cyst be operated on first? — weighing oncologic safety against fertility timing in a single consultation.
Clinical Expertise
- Minimally invasive gynecologic tumor surgery: Laparoscopic management of fibroids and ovarian cysts with deliberate preservation of uterine and ovarian function.
- Hysteroscopic surgery: Correction of cavity obstacles — endometrial polyps, adhesions — that silently undermine implantation.
- Infertility: Reproductive endocrinology training at Taichung VGH informs the bridge between surgical treatment and assisted reproduction.
- Obstetrics and general gynecology: Continuous care from conception through delivery.
Why Choose Dr. Ting-Feng Wu
Tumor surgery and reproduction in one judgment The “operate or proceed to IVF” decision for fibroids and cysts can cost patients months or their ovarian reserve. A surgeon-reproductiveist evaluates tumor safety and fertility timing together, instead of bouncing between two specialties.
End-to-end Chung-Shan system training From residency to attending physician at Chung-Shan Medical University Hospital, his core surgical craft was built and proven in one of central Taiwan’s flagship OB-GYN programs.
Fixing the cavity before transfer Polyps and adhesions are among the hidden causes of repeated transfer failure; his hysteroscopic capability clears them precisely before embryos go back.
