About
Dr. Yuko Ikemoto is a reproductive medicine physician at Sugiyama Ob-Gyn Clinic, where she has worked since 2018. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Fukuoka University in 2008, completed initial clinical training at Juntendo University Nerima Hospital, then continued advanced training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Juntendo University School of Medicine.
At the university hospital she took part in reproductive medicine including surgery for uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and endometrial polyps — experience she now applies daily at Sugiyama. She holds 18 years of clinical experience, 12 of them in reproductive medicine, and carries the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology instructor (Shidou-i) designation in addition to her specialist certification and doctorate.
She gives particular thought to couples balancing treatment with careers: she shares treatment schedules ahead of time so patients can plan work and appointments around each other.

Why Choose Dr. Ikemoto
Dr. Ikemoto combines a surgeon’s capability with a deliberately approachable consulting style — she is recommended for patients who want to ask questions without hesitation. Her stated priority is that couples make choices they will not regret: she explains treatment options thoroughly, honors each couple’s wishes and values, and creates an atmosphere where difficult questions are welcome.
