About Adore Fertility
Adore Fertility is a reproductive endocrinology practice at 1280 Hospital Drive, Suite 300, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, serving the Charleston area. Dr. Jeris Cox opened it in 2021 after retiring from the U.S. Army, where she was an obstetrician-gynecologist and chief of reproductive medicine. The practice’s own team page describes it as a women-owned, women-operated clinic focused on lower-cost fertility care and on family building for female couples.
It is a small, single-physician operation, and you should read everything below with that in mind. The clinic’s SART record for 2023 lists 168 cycles against a national per-clinic average of 932. Its published team consists of seven people: one physician, two nurses (one of them the IVF coordinator), a senior embryologist who also runs the lab, a certified medical assistant, a surgical technologist, and a front desk manager.
One thing that trips up patients searching maps: the listing at this address also appears under the name Pinnacle Fertility, a group brand our capture records at the same address. Adore Fertility keeps its own website and its own phone number, and the number on this page is Adore’s.
Accreditations & Awards
- Physician certification. Dr. Jeris Cox is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
- Laboratory accreditation. Our clinic-record capture lists this practice as CAP-accredited — College of American Pathologists accreditation, the quality-system accreditation that applies to a clinical embryology laboratory.
- Research recognition. The team page credits Cox with research awards from ASRM and ACOG. We have not independently verified individual award citations.
- Military service. Cox trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, completed her reproductive endocrinology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in 2015, built a fertility program at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in 2015, and holds the Joint Service Commendation Medal.
- State licensure. The clinic is licensed in South Carolina as a reproductive specialty clinic; our capture verified that record on 2026-07-27.
Why Choose Adore Fertility
The prices are on the table before you call. Self-pay packages are flat rates: $10,000 for IVF with ICSI, $12,000 when PGT-A is added, $700 for IUI, $6,700 for egg freezing, $3,750 for a frozen embryo transfer if you created your embryos here ($4,600 if you did not). Medication and anesthesia appear as separate line items rather than folded into the package, so the package number is not an all-in figure — but you can add it up yourself from the clinic’s own list.
Under 35, the numbers look ordinary — in a good way. The clinic’s SART 2023 cumulative live-birth rate per intended retrieval was 54.2% for patients under 35, against 53.2% nationally. That is roughly the national result, not a lead. Above 35 the clinic’s rows run below the national summary: 16.0% versus 39.9% at 35-37, 14.3% versus 26.2% at 38-40, and 0.0% versus 9.4% over 40.
Read the denominators, not just the percentages. Adore is a low-volume clinic, and its data is thin in exactly the places you would want it thickest. For the CDC’s 2022 reporting year the clinic reported 75 cycles, and every age-specific intended-retrieval figure was suppressed because fewer than 20 patients fell into each band. The 2024 preliminary figures — 149 cycles, 37.5% under 35 — came in below the 2023 final row shown above. There is no multi-year track record here yet.
Frozen-transfer rows carry the smallest samples on the page. The frozen-transfer percentages displayed for this clinic come from the 2024 preliminary “frozen with PGT-A” table, and the denominators are 19, 17, 7 and 1 transfers by age band. The 100% figure in the oldest band is a single transfer. Treat it as one data point, not a rate.
You will deal with one doctor. Dr. Cox is the only physician on the published team, which means continuity with a single board-certified REI rather than a rotation of specialists. Our sources do not document appointment wait times, monitoring hours, or weekend availability, so ask about those directly.
Time-lapse culture and donor programs in-house. The clinic lists an EmbryoScope time-lapse incubator for embryo culture, plus donor egg and donor embryo programs and mind/body support services.
Military and veteran families. The practice advertises pricing concessions for active-duty and retired military families, and a military discount tag appears on this page. Our sources do not itemize what that concession covers, so treat the free second consultation and the manufacturer drug programs described below as open to qualifying patients generally rather than as military-only perks.
IVF & Fertility Services
- IVF with ICSI — stimulation and monitoring, retrieval, ICSI fertilization, embryo culture in an EmbryoScope time-lapse incubator, and transfer. $10,000 flat.
- IVF with ICSI and PGT-A — the same cycle with preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy; the $12,000 package includes biopsy of up to 10 embryos.
- IUI — $700 flat, per the clinic’s package list.
- Egg freezing / fertility preservation — $6,700 package.
- Frozen embryo transfer — $3,750 for patients whose embryos were created at Adore, $4,600 for patients transferring embryos from elsewhere.
- Ovulation induction — oral or injectable medication with monitoring, $250-400 per cycle.
- Donor egg and donor embryo programs — offered, with coordination through egg banks. Our sources record no published price for either program, so we do not quote one.
- Fertility medication management — prescribed and monitored in-house; self-pay medication runs $3,000-8,000 depending on protocol.
- Mind/body services — massage, acupuncture, and nutrition and exercise counseling offered alongside treatment.
- Family building for female couples — the clinic’s stated founding focus. Its listed services cover IUI, donor egg and donor embryo programs, and embryo transfer; our sources do not document a named in-house sperm bank, so ask how donor sperm sourcing works before you book.

Insurance. The clinic bills Aetna, Cigna, Maven and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Its own list adds UnitedHealthcare from August 1, 2026, a date after our 2026-07-27 capture, so confirm that one directly. Self-pay package pricing cannot be combined with insurance benefits.
Financing and drug assistance. Payment plans run through CapexMD. Medication costs can be submitted to manufacturer assistance programs the clinic names as Compassionate Care and Reunite, and some patients bring the drug bill to $0 that way — which matters because medication is the largest cost variable outside the package price.
Patient Journey
- Consultation — $250 for a new patient, or no charge for a second opinion if you bring a complete fertility workup from within the past 12 months. Bring prior medical records, fertility test results, your insurance card, and photo ID.
- Baseline testing — hormone panels and ultrasound, a tubal patency check (HSG, $550), and semen analysis ($150).
- Protocol and pricing — medication plan, package selection, and, if you are using insurance or an assistance program, the benefit check and financing setup.
- Stimulation and monitoring — injectable or oral medication with ultrasound and bloodwork visits; retrieval is performed under anesthesia ($500 self-pay).
- Culture and transfer or freeze — embryos are cultured in the time-lapse incubator, with PGT-A biopsy if that package was chosen; transfer is scheduled as a fresh or frozen cycle.
- Follow-up — pregnancy testing and ongoing monitoring after transfer.
Local Legal Framework
South Carolina has no statute that authorizes or prohibits surrogacy. Agreements have been dealt with by courts case by case instead of under a statewide framework, and our sources document no comprehensive South Carolina surrogacy act and no controlling appellate ruling on enforceability. In practice that means the outcome depends on the individual court and the facts of each arrangement, so get independent South Carolina counsel before signing anything with a gestational carrier.
Egg and sperm donation are not subject to specific state restrictions in South Carolina. Preimplantation genetic testing is not separately regulated at the state level and follows federal guidance. Same-sex marriage is legal nationwide and LGBTQ+ patients may use assisted reproductive technology in South Carolina, though the state has no specific anti-discrimination statute covering fertility treatment. South Carolina also has no statute defining the legal status of an embryo.
Clinic licensure, laboratory accreditation, and outcome reporting to CDC and SART are the oversight mechanisms that apply here. Our sources document no South Carolina–run clinic rating to consult, which is why the registry numbers in the section above carry so much weight.
