Aspire Fertility San Antonio is a SART member clinic. SART registers a single San Antonio entity (ClinicPKID 2411) at the group's Stone Oak address, so the Medical Center office reports under that entity's membership rather than holding one of its own.

About Aspire Fertility - Medical Center Satellite

Aspire names its San Antonio offices by what patients do in them, and this one is the appointment-and-testing floor. The address is 4330 Medical Dr, Suite 150, on the first floor of a Medical Drive building that the Google listing records as shared with WellMed practices, in the South Texas Medical Center area. Aspire’s own group page says its Stone Oak and Medical Center sites both provide new-patient consultations, lab work and ultrasound; the page for this address adds that the Medical Center Satellite provides IVF and other fertility treatments, and lists two names under it - Aimee Browne, MD, and Cheryl Koone, MSN. The doctorCount: 1 field above counts the physician on that list; Koone appears with a nursing credential, and patient reviews here mention both Dr Browne and Dr Balthazar, so more of the group’s staff passes through than the office page shows.

The calendar in this profile belongs to the network, not to the suite on Medical Drive. Two years appear on Aspire’s own pages: 2015, when the brand was already working with patients in Houston, Dallas and Atlanta, and 2018, when it joined with Reproductive Medicine Associates of Texas (Texas RMA) and the merged practice took the Aspire Fertility name. Neither our dossier nor the clinic’s pages attach any year to Aspire’s entry into San Antonio or to this satellite, so established: 2015 is kept as the network’s founding date and never used here as this office’s birthday. The clinic’s own title for the place - Medical Center Satellite - is the more useful description.

The chart on this page reports for a group. SART lists one San Antonio practice, Aspire Fertility Institute San Antonio (SART number 0717, ClinicPKID 2411), registered at the Stone Oak address rather than at 4330 Medical Dr, and the CDC tables carry the same single entity. Every percentage below is that entity’s 2023 total, filed once for the San Antonio operation these offices sit inside, and it is unchanged from Aspire’s other San Antonio pages; nothing in our data supports a rate for this suite alone, and we will not rank the offices against each other. For SART 2023 Final that entity logged 1,697 cycles. Live birth per intended egg retrieval, counting all transfers, reads: 58.4% under 35 / 33.8% at 35-37 / 27.4% at 38-40 / 13.2% over 40. The last of those is a pooled figure - SART’s own brackets run 15.4% at 41-42 on 78 starts and 8.3% over 42 on 36 starts - and the start counts behind the four brackets above are 310, 216, 190, 78 and 36, or 830 in all.

Now subtract the national row, which is the SART 2023 National Summary (ClinicPKID 0): same registry, same reporting year, so lining the two up bracket by bracket is legitimate rather than a trick.

  • Under 35: 58.4% for the entity, 53.2% nationally - above
  • 35-37: 33.8% against 39.9% - below, and by the widest margin in either direction
  • 38-40: 27.4% against 26.2% - a shade above
  • Over 40: 13.2% against 9.4% - above

Three of four brackets clear the country; the 35-37 bracket does not. Quote all four or none. Our data carries no fresh-versus-frozen split for this entity, so every number above pools both transfer types; the national row does separate them, and under 35 those halves read 41.7% for fresh and 47.9% for frozen transfers, which is how far a pooled figure can sit from either. As for volume, 932 - the national cycle average held in the fields above - is assembled from mixed bases across our sources, so we decline to divide 1,697 by it. One last bookkeeping note: our research pass discarded a CDC API response for this entity because it returned older-year figures regardless of the year requested, and the SART 2023 Final row you see here replaced it.

Accreditations & Awards

  • SART member clinic for Aspire’s San Antonio entity, confirmed in the CDC clinic tables and SART’s clinic search. The membership attaches to ClinicPKID 2411 at Stone Oak, not to this address.
  • Lab accreditation flag: “Yes” in the CDC fertility clinic data for the entity, recorded as verified lab accreditation. Our sources do not identify which body accredited the lab. An earlier draft of this profile asserted CAP accreditation; that claim appears nowhere in the research dossier, so it is removed - read this as CDC-listed lab accreditation, nothing more specific.
  • Castle Connolly Top Doctors recognition for Aspire San Antonio providers, stated on the network’s own pages. Network-level, unassigned to offices in our sources.
  • Google rating 4.6 stars across 234 reviews on this listing: 207 five-star, 2 four-star, 2 three-star, 3 two-star and 20 one-star at the 2026-08-07 recheck. The spread is part of the picture: 20 one-star reviews sit inside that 4.6 average.
  • No published ranking for this office. Our dossier records no Newsweek, US News or comparable placement tied to the Medical Center address; a brand-level ranking elsewhere in the network would not belong on this page.

Why Choose Aspire Fertility - Medical Center Satellite

  • A 7:00 a.m. weekday opening. The listing shows Monday through Friday, 07:00-16:00, and closed Saturday and Sunday. An early blood draw or a scan can sit before your workday rather than replacing part of it, and the hours field above carries that block.
  • Consults, labs and scans in one place. Aspire’s group page puts new-patient consultations, lab work and ultrasound at this site, which is the practical reason to book here: the tests that fill a work-up can stay on one address instead of scattering across San Antonio.
  • A named physician for this address. Aimee Browne, MD is listed for the Medical Center office alongside Cheryl Koone, MSN. Reviews on this listing name Dr Browne and Dr Balthazar, and name Cheryl Koone directly; provider-to-office attribution is recorded in our dossier as unconfirmed, so verify who holds your consult when you call.
  • A shared line for three offices. (210) 337-8453 is the number Aspire prints for this site and for its Stone Oak and Alamo Heights pages, so rescheduling between offices runs through one front desk.
  • Where the embryology is. Our dossier records the IVF laboratory at the group’s Stone Oak site and documents this office for consultations, lab work and ultrasound. Ask which of your visits happen at 4330 Medical Dr and which at 150 E Sonterra Blvd before you commit to a calendar.
  • What is not documented here. Our sources record no accessibility amenity list, no accepted-payment list, and no on-site procedure suite for this address. The clinic’s page for it says simply to call with questions or to book an appointment.

IVF & Fertility Services

Three sources, three confidence levels. One sentence on Aspire’s San Antonio pages carries the network menu, listing fertility testing, in vitro fertilization and IUI, then egg freezing, donor egg cycles and gestational surrogacy, then preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A and PGT-M), male fertility services, fertility surgery, LGBTQ+ family building, and fertility preservation for patients facing cancer treatment or other gonadotoxic therapy. The CDC service table for the San Antonio entity marks donor egg services, donated embryo services, embryo cryopreservation, egg cryopreservation and gestational carrier as available. This clinic’s recorded service tags add ICSI to that list.

What that means for a patient at this address:

  • Consultation and work-up - the documented function of this office: new-patient consultation, lab work, ultrasound
  • IUI - on the network service list; our sources do not say whether inseminations are performed at this address or at another San Antonio office
  • IVF, donor egg, gestational carrier and PGT - offered by the network, performed under the entity’s single SART registration; which building each step happens in is not documented in our sources
  • Egg freezing, embryo cryopreservation and fertility preservation - listed both in the network text and, for freezing, in the CDC service table
  • ICSI - carried in this clinic’s service tags
  • Egg donation - the network’s own navigation includes a donor-recruitment page and a “Using Donor Eggs” page; our sources give no donor screening, matching or compensation detail

Fees & Packages

There is no published price list. Aspire publishes a “Fertility Costs” page on the network site, but our research pass could not retrieve it - the domain served a Cloudflare challenge to every path we tried on 2026-08-07, including robots.txt and sitemap - so we quote no number from it. Nothing in our sources states what a consultation costs at this office, whether evaluation visits are billed apart from a cycle fee, which items add on separately (medications, ICSI, PGT screening, freezing and storage, donor coordination), whether payment plans exist, or what insurance this entity accepts. Ask, at booking, for a written breakdown that names which office each visit is billed at, because a cycle planned around this site may still span two San Antonio addresses.

Patient Journey

  1. Book. Use the shared San Antonio appointments page or call (210) 337-8453; this site’s own page directs questions and appointment requests to that number. The listing notes that an appointment is recommended.
  2. New-patient consultation at 4330 Medical Dr. This is one of the two offices Aspire names for new-patient consultations. Expect a weekday slot - the office opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m.
  3. Lab work and ultrasound at the same address. Blood draws and imaging are the documented on-site functions; our sources do not publish which tests are ordered, how long results take, or how soon after a scan a protocol can be written.
  4. Treatment plan. The physician works from the network menu - IUI, IVF, freezing, donor egg, PGT - and you confirm at this point which visits sit on this calendar and which belong to the Stone Oak lab.
  5. Cycle steps. Retrieval, embryo culture and transfer are not documented for this office, and our dossier gives no wait times, monitoring frequency or stimulation length for it either. Get the visit schedule in writing from your care team.

Two regulatory facts appear in this clinic’s research dossier, and no state statute does. Assisted reproduction in Texas operates under federal FDA and CDC oversight, and the entity behind these offices is a SART member clinic reporting ART cycle data to CDC - which is why the numbers on this page exist at all. Because our sources quote no Texas provision, none appear here, and we do not import legal text from the network’s pages for other cities. Where our dossier is silent - donor compensation and screening, gestational carrier agreements, embryo disposition, parentage for intended parents who are single or same-sex couples - treat it as undocumented, not as settled either way.

The practical consequence is that your consent forms do the legal work. Before a cycle starts, read the embryo storage and disposition agreement, including what the clinic does if it cannot reach you; the donor agreement for egg, sperm or donated-embryo cycles, which the CDC service table shows this entity handles; and, for a gestational carrier arrangement, the sequence of signatures and any court order, since the entity’s CDC listing includes gestational carrier services. If your plan involves donors, a carrier, or gametes or embryos moving across state lines, have a Texas family-law attorney review the contracts before medication begins. Insurance coverage is a separate document question, and our sources record nothing about what Texas plans must cover for this clinic.

Do not use this clinic unless you are prepared to receive bills for services you never agreed to. My treatment ended two years ago, and in the signed paperwork I clearly selected that all remaining embryos should be discarded. I did not agree to continue embryo storage. One year ago, I received a storage bill and called the clinic. I was told the account had been corrected and closed. I believed the issue was resolved. Now, two years after my treatment ended, I have received another bill for more than $800 for embryo storage that I never authorized. This is unacceptable. I followed the clinic’s process, signed the documents, paid every legitimate balance, and still continue to be charged. Patients should not have to spend years fighting incorrect bills after their treatment is finished. Please review every document carefully and keep copies of everything. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic.

Very corrupt and fraudulent finance department they have. They find ways to charge you for no reason, no proof and when you ask for proof of their bill, they don’t hand it to you. This facility must be closed.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience has been devastating and cannot go unmentioned. Our family trusted Aspire Fertility with something incredibly important. Tragically, under their care, we lost our child—an experience that has caused us immeasurable pain and grief. What has made this situation even more difficult is what followed. We clearly and explicitly stated that we did not consent to any egg storage, yet the clinic proceeded anyway without our authorization. Since then, we have continued to receive repeated billing statements for this service. When we requested proof of consent, none was provided. Instead of resolving the issue responsibly, we were met with vague responses and what appears to be a disorganized and unaccountable system. To summarize our experience: • A heartbreaking loss during their care • Services carried out without consent • Ongoing billing for something we declined • No documentation provided when requested This raises serious concerns about professionalism, accountability, and patient trust. At a time when compassion and responsibility matter most, we experienced the opposite. We strongly urge others to ask detailed questions, document everything, and be very cautious. This has been one of the most painful experiences of our lives, and the way it has been handled afterward has only added to that pain.
